The Forum of Canadian Ombudsman (FCO) is awarding a research grant in the amount of $10,000 to 1) support an Ombuds-focused research project that will contribute to higher levels of effectiveness in the implementation of the Ombuds/man/person role in the Canadian context; or 2)conduct an environmental scan to identify all of the Ombuds/man/person roles that are operating in all of the provinces and territories in Canada and to create a user-friendly database that can be easily updated.
