The Board of Internal Economy of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan is accepting applications for the position of Advocate for Children and Youth for the Province of Saskatchewan.

The Advocate for Children and Youth is an Officer of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan who works on behalf of the rights, interests and well-being of the province’s young people. The Advocate’s mandate is defined by The Advocate for Children and Youth Act.

The Advocate provides expert and strategic leadership for a team of twenty, serves as a voice for Saskatchewan children and youth, and is committed to ensuring that their interests and well-being are respected and valued in the community, government practice, policy and legislation.
