FIONA CREAN DEPARTS TO ACCEPT POSITION AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AT INDSPIRE

Fiona Crean, Ombudsman for Hydro One is departing to accept the role of Chief Operating Officer at Indspire, a national charity that helps thousands of Indigenous students complete their education through bursaries, scholarships and awards.Indspire, under the leadership of Roberta Jamieson advocates for equitable, accessible and culturally relevant education for Indigenous youth.

In Fiona’s own words, “I am very excited to be able to work with Indspire which invests in the education ofIndigenouspeople for the long term benefit of individuals, families, communities and Canada. I believe that Canada is at a crossroads. It is challenged to repair its past and establish new relationships between Indigenous people and the rest of Canada. The opportunity to be involved in this endeavour is a fabulous opportunity for me“.

Hydro One wants to thank Fiona for her significant work in establishing the Ombudsman’s Office at Hydro One. The office is now fully operational and will continue to play a key role in resolving customer complaints and supporting the company’s path to customer excellence.
