The Commission for Complaints for Telecom-Television Services (CCTS) is an independent, government-mandated organization, funded by industry, dedicated to resolving disputes between consumers and their telecommunications and television services providers in Canada. As part of its role, CCTS also administers four mandatory codes of conduct, ensuring that customers receive the benefits they provide and tracking compliance.

With the announced departure of the founding Commissioner & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in December 2025, an independent Committee of CCTS Board seeks to identify the next leader, who will inherit a strong foundation and the opportunity to chart the next phase of CCTS’ impact.

The CEO is the most senior executive responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and ensuring the effective functioning of CCTS. They will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster collaboration and dialogue with stakeholders, and maintain the public’s trust in CCTS as an independent and effective complaints resolution body.

This is a unique role that will appeal to a seasoned leader who is committed to advancing the mission of CCTS with integrity and operational excellence, as well as building awareness of CCTS’s important mandate through strategic stakeholder engagement and extending the reach of its reputation as an independent and respected ombuds organization.   More>>>


Early Resolution Officer, BC Office of the Ombudsperson

Reporting to the Manager of Intake and Early Resolution, the Early Resolution Officer (ERO) is part of the Intake Team that provides the first line of service for over 7,000 enquires and complaints received by the Office of the Ombudsperson each year. The ERO uses active listening and conflict resolution skills to assess complaints received from diverse members of the public via phone, in-person or in writing about programs and services provided by provincial and local government agencies to determine an appropriate response and course of action.  More>>>
